Knowle Hill Conservation Site

About The Park
Managed to a plan drawn up for the council by Greenspace, the site contains many interesting species of plants and is visited by a large number of insects and birds.
How To Get There
The conservation area is located in Knowle Lane and is best approached from Mortimer's Lane. Once in Knowle Lane the conservation area is signposted on the right just before the amenity tip. Parking is available for approximately eight cars.
Volunteers Required!
In the past, the Council has benefited from the help of a willing group of volunteers who turned out on occasional Sunday mornings in their wellies and gloves to keep back the brambles and create habitat piles for butterflies and all manner of wildlife. If you are interested in the site and would like to help with its care and protection, please call the Clerk (see bottom of this page) and register your interest. Who knows, it just might be the start of a whole new Sunday morning workout!
